After a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel, our experience tour guide, a local expert, will pick you up to start an adventure through Hanoi city. Initiating with historical sites, your itinerary includes a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where Vietnamese people preserve the body of President Ho Chi Minh and show respect to one of the greatest leaders of the country. Hoa Lu was Vietnam’s first capital, before Ly Thai To (Ly Cong Uan) decided to choose Thang Long (known as Hanoi nowadays) as the new capital of the country. At present, you can still explore deep into the history of this area, with the ruins of the old Citadel, built back in the day of the Dinh (968-980) and Le (980-1009) Dynasties.
Being not only a historical site, Ninh Binh is also a world-prominent destination, with a complicated and subtle complex of limestone karst hills. It’s suitable for those who love trekking. Immerse yourself to a horizontally panoramic view on top of those hills. After an energetic morning, let’s journey to Tam Coc (Three Caves), 10 kilometres away from Ninh Binh, and enjoy a lunch with local specialties.
After a time relaxing, you’ll jump on an exciting experience – exploring the mesmerizing Tam Coc by boarding a bamboo boat along Hoang Long River. During this journey, you’ll find out the reason people call this place “Halong Bay on the mainland”. Slowly boarding along the river and take glimpses through the iconic limestone karst formation, poetic scenery of riverside villages, where local fishermen earning their life on boat like real artists.
Want something more adventurous? You can conquer Ngu Nhac Mountain to approach Bich Dong Pagoda.
