Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane

Your guide will meet you outside baggage claim when you arrive and give you a quick introduction before escorting you to a waiting car for your transfer to downtown. The ASIA TOUR ADVISOR LOGO and your name will be displayed on a welcome signboard held by your guide. Your guide will give you an overview of Vientiane during the drive.
With a diverse array of architectural styles and influences spanning from traditional Lao to Thai, Chinese, French, Soviet, and American, Vientiane is the serene and classic capital of Laos. Explore the Patuxai Monument, the Arc of Triomphe of Laos, ancient atmospheric temples, strange sculptures, the golden spires of Pha That Luang, and crumbling French palaces. Vientiane will astonish and thrill you with its charmingly serene beauty, from riverbank cafes to steamy noodle shops.

Numerous excellent restaurants serving Lao, Thai, French, Italian, Mexican, and Chinese food can be found in Vientiane. To get personal recommendations, ask your guide.

Day 2: Vientiane- City Tours

Following breakfast, we begin touring the capital's main attractions, such as the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple containing thousands of little Buddha sculptures, and the ancient royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which once held the well-known Emerald Buddha Image.

We pause to take some photos of the majestic Patuxay Monument, sometimes known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph, en route to the well-known and revered That Luang Stupa.

Day 3: Vientiane- Luang Prabang- City Tours

Take a quick flight to Luang Prabang after breakfast. Meet your guide when you arrive, then head to your hotel. Following a brief respite, we visit the National Museum, the magnificent stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, and Wat Xieng Thong. We then ascend Phousi Mount for a delightful exploration of the revered, gilded stupa and a stunning sunset view of the city and Mekong River. After that, we visit the Street Night Market, where you can discover the beautiful assortment of handcrafted textiles manufactured by the locals and hill tribes in the vicinity of Luang Prabang.

The charming World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, the former royal capital, is tucked away in a mountain valley at the meeting point of the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers. With its magnificent colonial buildings, elaborate monasteries, and vibrant marketplaces, it is a mystical and alluring location. Get up early to view the saffron-robed monks gathering alms in the traditional dawn ritual, explore the Pak Ou Caves' hundreds of Buddha statues, take in the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfall, and ascend Phou Si Hill to observe the sun slowly lowering behind the Mekong River.

Day 4: Luang Prabang -Pak Ou Cave

Following breakfast, we take an upstream Mekong River cruise that offers us a stunning view of the serene countryside and an intriguing tour of the enigmatic Pak Ou Caves, which are home to thousands of Buddha statues in a variety of sizes and shapes that have been lacquered in gold.

We pause along the journey in the village of Ban Xanghai, where local rice wine is distilled. We drive a short distance back to Ban Xang Khong, which is renowned for its hand weaving.

Day 5: Luang Prabang -Kuang Sii Fang -Destination

Learn about Lao culture in a lasting way. We provide a five-day, four-night stay in Laos and Vientiane. A private meeting with a head monk at That Luang, Laos' national emblem, and a private meditation lesson led by a monk in a serene forest monastery outside the city are added to the traditional sites. And Be ready to be splashed on the streets as revelers "cleanse" each other with playful water throwing after visiting tranquil golden temples where devotees flock to purify Buddhist sculptures. Along with trips to some of the most breathtaking locations in the area, the tour also includes a river boat ride along the powerful Mekong.
